I am a tutor with experience supporting students preparing for the 11+, helping them build both confidence and strong foundational skills. My approach is structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s individual needs.
In lessons, I focus on key 11+ areas such as English and Maths, including comprehension, vocabulary, problem-solving, and exam technique. I break topics down into clear steps and use practice questions to build familiarity and confidence with the exam format.
I adapt my teaching depending on the student. For those who are less confident or feel anxious, I create a calm and encouraging environment and work at a pace that suits them. For more confident students, I introduce more challenging material to stretch their ability and improve accuracy under timed conditions.
Lessons are typically one hour long, and I aim to ensure each session is focused, engaging, and productive.
My tutoring is aimed at primary school students preparing for the 11+ (typically ages 9–11), supporting them not only in improving academically but also in developing confidence and a positive approach to learning.
