About Marjan
I have worked as a tutor since 2017. I received my Bachelors in Neuroscience from George Mason University and then went to the University of Pittsburgh and received my Masters in biomedical sciences. I currently help students with math (almost all levels), sciences, and English/grammar. I have always remembered the teachers and professors who made learning fun, and I hope that students can enjoy learning the material like I did!

I like to individualize the tutoring sessions by helping educate the student based on their strengths and weaknesses. I think it’s especially important to build a good relationship with the student, so learning doesn’t have to be monotonous, bur can be fun instead! I have found the most success with student information retention when the information is learned in a more exciting way.
