About Abbi
I have a year of experience working in Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia working as an Assistant Instructor at an outdoor education company. This involved taking groups of students of ages ranging from 8 to 15 to outdoor camps, providing activities such as white water rafting, kayaking, snorkeling, and trekking.
I additionally spent 4 months working in Indonesia teaching children in a classroom, focussing on international relations and the culture divide between the masses of tourists and resorts infiltrating the Northern shore of Bali, and the lower economically developed Southern side. I saw first hand the dissemination of information throughout the community, and allowed both the children and adults alike to educate each other in an encouraging way.
I grew up in Singapore, and achieved an A* in both IGCSE English Literature, and English Language. I additionally received a 7 (out of 7) at higher level English Literature in the International Baccalaureate, and an Upper Second Class division at University College London.

Working with my students, we discuss the different types of learners they are, and create lessons which develop that learning intelligence so that it can translate into traditional exams and essays.
I am very familiar with MYP, IGCSE and IB courses, which both have much overlap into GCSE and A-Level courses. I'm offering tutoring for GCSE, IGCSE, MYP, A-Level, and IB courses.
