About Douglas
I often found myself the only person answering questions in my classes through most of my A-levels and thus I always felt motivated to help other people in my class to understand a question posed to us or the knowledge of the concepts required to answer the question. I rarely got the chance to do so. Last academic year, so around about 2022, I had some issues with mental anxiety and wellbeing so I took an extra year to build this up which allowed me to feel very confident during my final exams in 2024. Having gone through this I can advise you on how to maintain good mental health and techniques to ensure you are comfortable enough to ace your final exams.

For three years I have learnt A-level Maths and Physics and have an adept understanding of not only the concepts, however also how to aid fellow students in breaking down a question to be able to answer more effectively. I have an A* in A-level Maths and As in Biology, Chemistry and Physics from 2023 and likely A*s in Physics and Further Maths in 2024. Although I may have less experience than others I can better understand how you feel when answering a question which allows me to properly explain to you how to effectively answer a question. I am also capable of teaching these subjects at GCSE and the lessons can range from half an hour to 2 hours depending on your certain needs.
