Hi! My name is Elizabeth and I'm a college student offering English conversation practice and Essay writing assistance. I have over 4 years of experience tutoring, I have taught elementary school students as an assistant teacher and taught English while volunteering at a for women non-profit in Nepal! I've been helping people perfect their essays for almost three years now! My teaching approach is very communicative, implementing flipped classroom methods. What I have my students do is write a very rough draft, paint an idea of the narrative they wish to tell. From there we build. I will thoroughly proofread your first, second, and third drafts, providing feedback via conversations like a friend rather than an instructor. We work on your essay until you are happy with your end product. Beyond essay writing, I also teach English as a second language. I'm trilingual with parents that have English as their second language, so I understand the frustration behind grammar, pronunciation, and finding the right words to balance professionalism and fluidity. I'm fluent in Korean and Nepali, so if your mother tongue is either I can be of assistance. When it comes to teaching English, I believe active communication and conversation is key. I provide daily call or text support so you can practice on your downtime! We can communicate via voice notes to really hone in on your pronunciation. I studied phonetics in high school so I am well-versed in helping break down difficult pronunciation. My Essay prep/Essay writing courses are mainly targeted towards high schoolers, those preparing for their college applications, and other undergrads. My English classes are targeted towards those of all ages!
