About Nina
I am an undergraduate, playwright and director studying Writing for Performance BA(Hons) at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in Camden. My love of English Literature comes from a history of writing for and in theatre, something I hope to bring to our lessons. Prior to studying in London, I lived in Swindon, Wiltshire where I took English Literature, Film Studies and Drama & Theatre Studies A-Levels, achieving A* and two As respectively. I have written and produced multiple plays, including a short radio comedy which was broadcast by BBC Radio in early 2023. I am currently developing several projects in and around RCSSD, some of which are supported by writers such as Mark Ravenhill and Judith Johnson. Continuing learning from writers and professionals like these only adds to the quality of my own tutorship.

I am a patient and adaptive tutor who will always strive to meet individual's needs, not just an exam board's. Taking into consideration subject specifications as well as your interests in the subject, I will make sure you find fun and excitement in our English Literature classes! I have experience as a student TA in both Drama and English GCSE settings and have mentored multiple GCSE groups on a range of tasks including language analysis, creative writing and academic essays. Whilst studying for my English Literature A-Level, I tutored some of my peers, turning a teacher's lesson into digestible and learnable information. This was very fulfilling. My lessons are for anyone from starting in Year 7 (age 11) to finishing their A-Levels (age 18). Whether you want a helping hand catching up with classwork or are looking for a boost outside of a school environment, I can definitely help! Lessons will be 1-2hrs.
