About Samira
I am an undergraduate Life Sciences student completing a Biology for Health Science major and chemistry minor at UofT. As a volunteer tutor with a non-profit organization, observing student growth and helping you meet your goals in school is a rewarding experience. Throughout my elementary and high school years, I remember being in moments when I wished I could get quality 1-on-1 support in a safe environment. That's exactly what I will give my students! I have always been a top student in High School Math and Chemistry because I enjoy learning and teaching these subjects :) I also achieved a GPA of 4.0 in my first-year Calculus and General Chemistry classes.

I teach Gr. 6 to 10 math and Gr. 9 to 11 chemistry.
How I organize each tutoring session. . .
We'll start each tutoring session with questions you may have from homework, school work, or any past content. Then, we can practice if needed. Each session will be interactive, activity-based lesson, and focused on your questions and needs.
My goal in teaching is to help boost every student to their highest potential in their least skilled subject. Practice, stay positive, and you'll get it!
