About Teja
I am a student of Michigan State University. I joined the Osteopathic Medical Scholars Program, a prestigious direct medical program. I have done really well in my math and chemistry courses in my high school and college years of college, earning 4.0 cumulative GPA. I am currently on Dean's list as well as the honors college at my university. I want to help students learn with confidence in their material and conceptually understand it. I also plan to teach my students test-taking strategies.

My lessons are for highschoolers and college students. I have a strong passion for math and logic and aim to teach students through conceptual learning. I don't enjoy memorizing and I don't expect my students to either. Every lesson will be taught with the goal of students seeing beyond numbers and instead seeing patterns. Math is all about patterns and connections and I want to teach students these concepts. Math tests and standardized tests often create challenging problems that depend on conceptual understanding rather than rigid memorization. I want to offer my students a path, where they can understand every formula and it's origins rather than memorizing it, so that in the future they can apply their knowledge to solve challenging application problems.
