About Roman

I have experience working several internships in the public sector, having completed research for the US Department of State and the embassy of the Dominican Republic in South Korea. I am also fluent in three languages and attend Rice University in Houston.

About the lesson

My classes will offer effective and simple strategies for scoring well on the English section of the SAT. I can also offer help to students who are seeking tutoring in essay writing, and I strive to teach students through positive feedback as well as interactive and engaging learning.

Finding a tutor who can actually connect with a student while delivering real results is rare, but Roman has been exactly that for us.
Before we started, my son was really struggling to keep up with his English coursework, but Roman has a way of breaking things down that just makes sense.
It's been incredible to see his confidence grow alongside his grades. Roman is patient, professional, and has a very encouraging teaching style that makes the lessons something to actually look forward to, rather than a chore. If you're looking for someone who is genuinely effective and knows how to motivate a student, I can’t recommend Roman enough!

Roman has previously taught my middle school daughter English literature and I can say with confidence that he is a qualified tutor. He created a teaching plan for my child and the results were great, she had an A throughout her semester in AP literature. Words cannot express how grateful I am for that and be sure to check out his profile!
