I am an undergraduate student at the University of Manchester studying chemistry. I find tutoring extremely rewarding, as I was once in your position and know just how helpful it can be to have tricky concepts explained by a different expert than your teacher, in a different way than you have heard before. I also believe that exam advice is so helpful, especially when it comes from someone who sat exams very recently.

In our first session, we’ll discuss your strengths and weaknesses in the subject, as well as your personal goals and what you wish to accomplish from tutoring. I will then tailor future sessions to these goals. Each lesson will begin with a recap of the previous, before moving on to the next topic of interest. We will use past paper questions to test your knowledge and focus on exam technique to prepare you for your future exams. I will make sure to allow you time to ask any questions throughout and at the end of each session, and this feedback will inform the content of the next session.
