About Ashraf
I am currently a Level 200 Computer Science student at the University of Ghana, with experience supporting classmates and assisting students with academic preparation. Having spent 14 years studying in Ivory Coast, I am fully bilingual in English and French, which allows me to communicate effectively with a diverse range of students.
I am passionate about teaching because I have witnessed firsthand how students struggle with Maths and Science especially at the SHS level. During my own academic journey, I developed effective study methods and problem-solving techniques that helped me understand difficult concepts, and I am eager to share these strategies with others.

My teaching approach focuses on helping students understand concepts deeply rather than simply memorizing formulas and facts. I use clear explanations, real-life examples, problem-solving exercises, and interactive discussions to make Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Computing engaging and easy to understand.
I meet students four times a week: three sessions dedicated to lessons and one session for tutorials, practice, questions, and revision. A typical lesson lasts 2 hours (1 hour 30 minutes for tutorial) giving us enough time to cover concepts thoroughly and work through examples.
As a Level 200 Computer Science student at the University of Ghana, I have extensive experience helping my peers academically. I also assisted Adisadel College NSMQ contestants with preparation. My achievements include being the Captain of the Adisadel College NSMQ Team (2024), winning the Kangaroo Mathematics Competition in the Central Region (2024), and receiving the Best Chemistry Student Award in 2023 at Adisadel College.
My lessons are designed for Senior High School students and first-year university students, typically between the ages of 12 and 21, who want to improve their understanding and academic performance.
