About Christine
Having studied at an academically competitive secondary school (St Paul's Girls' School) and achieved a set of straight A*s at both GCSE and A level, I know what is needed to succeed and have picked lots of tips to improve learning and results . I have had success with 13+ common entrance exams and have also helped my students move up class sets. Overall I am a fairly relaxed tutor but still ensure we cover lots of material in class time!

I am currently studying maths at Imperial College London, and have over two years experience in tutoring. Every student is different, so initially I will always have a discussion with the student to find out what topics they would like to cover, and what their leaning style is like. The first half of a session is usually spent explaining a topic, then I like to do questions with the student to further cement understanding. I'm very patient, as I know everybody learns at different speeds, and am also light-hearted; from experience I know that tutees tend to perform better when they are having fun in a lesson!

My basic rate of £20 is for all students up to and including Year 9. Year10-11 (GCSE) will be £25, and £30 for A level students.
