About Chloe
Hi, I’m Chloe! I have been tutoring for over 8 years now and have a wealth of knowledge and experience I would love to share with you. I graduated with a degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Oxford in 2022. I also began a PGCE in 2023 but was ultimately unable to finish it due to a period of ill-health. Nevertheless, I bring everything I learned while studying for that qualification into my tutoring sessions. In my spare time, I am a storyteller, drama practitioner, and performer.

I will always begin with a lesson to assess the student’s level, strengths and weaknesses. I will use a combination of practice questions, subject exercises, examples of their previous schoolwork (if available), and discussion with the student and parent/carer to gauge this. I will then design a series of sessions tailored to the areas of weakness or uncertainty identified in this first meeting. I will then monitor the student’s progress as we go along, modifying and adapting lessons where needed. I also pride myself on building strong relationships with my students and striving to make learning fun. In my other work, I am a drama practitioner and performer, so I often find ways to bring in those skills during my sessions to keep things engaging and interesting.
