About Justin
I am a University of Pennsylvania graduate with a B.A. in Economics and a minor in Data Science & Analytics. I have experience tutoring secondary school students in Ireland and have particularly enjoyed helping students strengthen their math skills, prepare for exams, and become more confident working independently.
I enjoy tutoring because I know that math can become frustrating when a topic is explained too quickly or in only one way. I try to create a patient, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My goal is not simply to help students get through their homework, but to help them understand why a method works and gradually become more confident solving problems on their own.
I take preparation seriously and tailor lessons around each student's current schoolwork, strengths, areas for improvement, and upcoming exams.

I provide personalized one-to-one online Math lessons for Junior Cycle and secondary school students, with experience tutoring students in the Irish school system. My approach is patient and step-by-step: I identify where a student is struggling, break difficult concepts into manageable parts, and then reinforce them through guided practice until the student can work independently.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes and can focus on current schoolwork, revision, strengthening earlier topics, exam technique, or past-paper practice. For students preparing for exams, I place particular emphasis on recognizing question types, showing clear workings, managing time, and learning how to approach unfamiliar problems confidently.
I am a University of Pennsylvania graduate with a B.A. in Economics and a minor in Data Science & Analytics. I tailor each lesson to the individual student rather than following a one-size-fits-all curriculum, and I am happy to work alongside what the student is currently covering in school.
