About Kerry
With 7 years of teaching Mandarin in post-secondary institutions, and being an award winning Mandarin teaching recipient (receipts available upon request), I hold a PhD in Chinese Linguistics and Language Teaching.
I am also a government accredited translator for the combination of Chinese - English, and have multiple publications relating to Chinese linguistics and Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.

I offer casual tutoring and intensive lecture in elementary, intermediate, and advanced levels of Chinese. For those of you who know University slang, that would be like CHINA 101/102; CHINA 201;202; CHINA 301;302; CHINA 401/402.
We can target all areas (speaking, reading, writing/typing, listening) or your select picks!
I use PPTs, textbooks, workbooks, multimedia, YouTube and a variety of other teaching techniques.
Whether it is for personal interest, catching-up, skipping a level, or another purpose not mentioned here, I can work with you to achieve your goals in learning Mandarin Chinese with the same, if not better via personal customization and flexibility, quality you would receive at a University.
