My tutoring engages the student by catering the lesson to their preferred method of learning, as I understand that different students learn in different ways. For example, for visual learners, a variety of visual aids such as videos and images will be used to present concepts clearly.
Each lesson will be 1 hour and a half, and will begin with a short overview to present to the students the goals of the session. I will learn work closely with students to explain concepts in a variety of methods, in order to ensure the student’s full understanding. I will then test their understanding through practice questions which I will allow them to go through first independently, then will go through them together. I will make a note of any concepts the student has found difficult and review them in future sessions to make sure the student builds their confidence and understanding of any challenging concepts.
