About Si
Hi! My name is Sion and I am a writing and English tutor. I am a third-year university student studying marketing, and I love writing. I am from the United States, and I am spending a year on exchange in Melbourne. I believe that writing isn't just about making others happy, but making yourself happy too. I want all my clients to walk away from my sessions feeling more confident and optimistic about their work. I don't believe there is such a thing as a "good or bad writer." I think everyone is capable of doing anything and that the key we need is faith in ourselves.

In my lessons, I often have the person I am working with read their assignments to me. Oftentimes, we make small mistakes and don't notice until we read it out. I also use communication as a helpful tool, since we often struggle to put words on paper, but have a clear idea in our head of what we want to say. A lesson is typically an hour long, with the possibility of booking multiple sessions. I have been working professionally as a tutor for two years, employed by my university, so I have experience working with people of all ages. I have also been a nanny for two years, so I have extensive experience working with kids and helping with any assignment.
