About Emilia
I adore teaching, I started out by coaching netball to children aged between 9 and 18 years old, and have been doing so for 5 years so I have experience with lots fo different age groups. I also tutored for 2 years, helping a student move from the French system to the English one when she had very limited English language skills and no knowledge of what's taught in the British curriculum. Finally, I have also worked in classrooms with children with various learning disabilities so I know how to go back to basics when needed.

No matter what needs to be practiced (speaking, listening, reading or writing) I would tend to start with an interesting piece of news (in the form of a podcast, article, radio episode etc) to introduce a topic that can then be used specifically to target the aims of the student.
My knowledge of French exams set by UK boards combined with my experience of usually speaking French with native speakers helps me to target whatever is needed by the student.
I enjoy tutoring school age children (18 and younger), but within that range I am happy to tutor any level.
