About Gemma
With over 3 years of experience in teaching Economics, I have had the privilege of working with students from school, college, and even working professionals. My teaching approach focuses on making complex economic concepts simple and relatable through real-life examples and case studies. I believe in a student-centred approach, adapting my lessons to each individual’s pace and learning style. I encourage active participation and open discussion to ensure deep understanding and engagement. In addition to Economics, I also teach related subjects such as Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and Econometrics. My goal is not only to help students excel academically but also to equip them with practical knowledge they can apply in their careers. With my extensive experience and passion for teaching, I strive to make Economics both accessible and enjoyable for all students.

My teaching methodology for Economics is centred around Accountability, Creativity, Flexibility, and Empathy. I believe in holding students accountable for their learning while providing the support they need to succeed. I make complex economic concepts more relatable through creative approaches like real-world examples and case studies, helping students see how Economics applies to everyday life. I also offer flexibility in my teaching style, adapting to the needs and pace of each student. Empathy plays a key role, as I create a safe space for students to ask questions and develop a deeper understanding. Beyond Economics, I also offer tutoring in related subjects, ensuring a well-rounded learning experience. My goal is to make Economics both accessible and engaging, preparing students for academic success and real-world application.
