About Jiwon

Hello, and thank you for visiting my profile! My name is Jiwon, and I am a dedicated Korean language tutor with over three years of experience. I graduated from Sungshin Women's University, where I developed a strong foundation for analytical thinking and clear communication. While my degree is in law, my true passion lies in sharing the beauty of the Korean language and culture with students from all over the world. I have valuable experience teaching Korean to foreign students and understand the unique challenges and goals you may have. I believe that learning a new language should be a positive and empowering experience. My teaching philosophy is completely student-centered. This means every lesson is designed specifically for you, focusing on your personal goals and learning style. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to improve your fluency, I will be your patient and encouraging guide. Watching my students gain confidence and successfully communicate in Korean is the most rewarding part of my job. I am genuinely passionate about teaching and am excited to help you start or continue your language journey. Let's work together to make your Korean learning a fun and successful experience!

About the lesson

We can focus on practical skills like everyday conversation, pronunciation, and listening comprehension. We’ll also cover essential grammar, expand your vocabulary, and explore fascinating Korean culture through topics like K-Pop, K-Dramas, and travel.
As a native Korean speaker and a graduate of Sungshin Women’s University, I bring a deep understanding of the language and culture to every lesson. My goal is to create a comfortable and engaging learning environment where you can feel confident speaking and making progress.

Let's start your journey to fluency together! I look forward to helping you master the Korean language.
