About Pasan
I am Pasan Perera, currently a candidate chess master from Australia who played in the world youth chess olympiad. I am motivated to share my teachings to all levels of players. Chess is an amazing sport with a lot of life lessons and my goal is to show you how to think and improve your play.

I like to mix my teaching based on what I feel you may need to work on. Chess is a dynamic game and what could be a strength in the past, could be a weakness in the present. Therefore, my coaching revolves around your play. If I feel you struggle playing closed positions, we will do more drills in those positions.
I have many years of experience training students from various levels to get to their target goal. Depending on how motivated you are, my lessons will help you gain skills that you can use outside of chess.
