About Spring
Previously as an associate teacher, I enhanced high school students’ mathematical performance by at least one letter grade through personalized assistance in problematic areas. Currently, as a middle school teacher, I provide a differentiated educational curriculum to each of my 12 students in my classroom. Beyond K-12 level math and English, I have also taught jazz and hip-hop choreography to over 100 dancers!

My number one goal as an educator is to establish an interesting learning environment for all of my students! Instead of the conventional, and rather boring, one-way instruction, I design my lesson plans around interactive activities, visuals, auditory aids, real-life applications, etc, to ensure that my students thoroughly understand the presented concept(s) while having fun! Moreover, with a diversified repetition, summary of each lesson plan, and review of past and present topics, I successfully set my students up for both short-term and long-term knowledge acquirement. Last but not least, I nurture my students’ academic achievement through enthusiasm, consistent effort-praise, and constructive feedback.

Details
For high school students, my tutoring fee is $40/hour. There is no fee to reschedule or cancel a tutoring appointment with me IF the request is made more than 36 hours prior to the scheduled tutoring appointment. The fees for rescheduling or cancelling the tutoring appointment within 36 hours are 30% and 50% of the scheduled lesson, respectively (however, the traveling fee will be fully waived). Thank you so much for your understanding and cooperation!
