About Sydney
I work in politics and am pursuing my doctorate in political science, but music has always been a passion and a constant part of my life. I began playing piano at age eight and became a church pianist at twelve. With over 35 years of experience, I have performed in churches, at weddings and special events, and with bands.
As a teacher, I offer patient, encouraging lessons that help students develop strong technique, understand music theory, and build confidence. I tailor my guidance to each student’s goals and skill level.
Outside of work and music, I enjoy spending time with my 11-year-old hound-terrier mix, Bo, cooking, baking, and cheering on my favorite football team, the Georgia Bulldogs. I also love college sports in general and spending time outdoors when Arizona’s weather isn’t too hot!
