About Jon

I'm a veteran bassist with many name credits, with an extensive background in Jazz, Mainstream Pop and Broadway. I've got a website and a Wikipedia page, did a column for NoTreble website, and am performing actively. The best way to learn more about me is to Google me, or search on Apple Music or Spotify.

About the lesson

We start with a physical approach teaching balance and the proper application of force, hand & body position and posture.
We focus on learning the neck through diatonic exercises, the origin of harmony, the role and function of the bass, and how to ornament a fixed bass line.
