I didn’t find Cô Thủy right away — before starting lessons with her, I had studied with other Vietnamese teachers. Everyone has their own teaching style, but Cô Thủy was the one who truly found the right approach for me.

Her lessons are not just about following a textbook and completing exercises (although those are also part of the process). They are a complete immersion into the language, with a huge amount of additional materials and insights. We explore the differences between regional varieties of Vietnamese, learn about Vietnamese culture, and focus on modern, natural, everyday Vietnamese.

The lessons always start on time, and we often stay a little longer after the scheduled time to discuss a topic in more depth. The atmosphere during classes is always warm and comfortable, and the lessons are never boring.

I have been studying with Cô Thủy for almost two years now, and I have no plans to stop. Vietnamese is a challenging language, but with such a dedicated and supportive teacher, the learning process is truly enjoyable and motivating.

Thuỷ is a very good teacher who makes learning Vietnamese fun. Thuỷ works through lots of conversational examples so the lessons are practical. Highly recommend.
