About Constance

I am currently completing a double degree at the University of Technology Sydney, studying a Bachelor of Business with a major in Finance alongside a Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation.

My studies have developed strong skills in critical thinking, communication, problem-solving, and presenting ideas clearly, all of which I bring to my tutoring. I understand that students learn differently, so I focus on explaining concepts in a way that is structured, practical and easy to understand.

Next year, I will be commencing a graduate role in institutional banking (S&T), which reflects my strong academic background, professionalism, and ability to communicate effectively in demanding environments.

As a tutor, I am organized, reliable and approachable. I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and developing the confidence to improve independently.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is personalised, practical, and focused on building both confidence and results. I adapt each lesson to the student’s individual needs, whether they are improving their foundations, preparing for an assessment or working towards the HSC.

For HSC English Advanced and Standard students, I focus on essay structure, textual analysis, developing strong arguments, using evidence effectively, and learning how to adapt responses to different exam questions.
I also work closely with students on creative, discursive and persuasive writing, as well as unseen texts and exam technique.
Rather than encouraging students to simply memorise essays, I help them understand what makes a strong response and how to apply those skills independently.

For younger students, lessons can focus on reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, writing, paragraph structure, text analysis, and school assignments.

Lessons are typically 1hr - however can be adjusted/

I am a graduate of St Vincent’s College Potts Point and achieved a mark of 96 in the HSC. I have several years of tutoring experience and have worked with more than 20 students across different year levels and abilities.

I tutor students from Kindergarten through to Year 12, with a particular focus on NSW HSC English Advanced and Standard.
