About MacKenzie
Growing up, I moved around a lot which meant many different schools and many nights I spent struggling to gain the knowledge I needed to move forward. I didn’t have the access to tutors and my parents weren't necessarily familiar with the curriculum. I want to change that and take what I know and have experienced to help students succeed and re-gain the confidence on the way there.

I am huge on parent-tutor communication and because of that, I send lots of updates, forms, session notes, etc. I love doing office work so it might seem overbearing but It only comes from a place of desire. Over quarantine, I volunteered my time and tutored a student who loved that I took the time to make power point lessons and geared them towards his learning style as well as the parents.

I am willing to negotiate prices as long as my time and effort is recognized and we can agree on a good total. I am also willing to meet somewhere for an additional fee of $5 per hour.
