About Zac
I am entering my third year studying Mathematics at the University of Warwick, with particular interests in Modelling and Abstract Algebra.
I have a very strong academic background in Mathematics, achieving an average of 92% in my second year, placing me 4th out of 412 students in my cohort. I also achieved an average of 90% in my first year. At A-level, I achieved A*A*A*A* in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
I have accumulated over 1,500 hours of tutoring experience, working with students of a wide range of ages and abilities. My students have gone on to achieve A*s in both Mathematics and Further Mathematics, with some progressing to top universities including the University of Oxford, Imperial College London and LSE. I particularly enjoy adapting my teaching to each student, whether they need help building confidence, understanding challenging topics, or preparing for important exams.
Outside of academics, I am a lifelong Chelsea FC fan and enjoy following football. I also compete as a cross-country athlete for the University of Warwick.

I’m here to help with all your maths needs, whether that’s one-off homework help, regular lessons, or preparation for upcoming exams. I genuinely love tutoring and teaching, and I’m always happy to help students build their confidence, understand difficult topics, and make real progress.
I recommend one or two lessons per week for consistent progress, although I’m happy to adapt this depending on your goals and needs. Please let me know your current level before the first lesson so I can make sure the sessions are tailored to you.
There are no stupid questions, and I’m more than happy to explain something multiple times or approach it in a different way. What matters most is that you understand the material and leave each lesson feeling more confident.
I can be flexible with timings, but I’m generally available on weekday evenings and during the day at weekends.

Perfect! Zac was a clear and patient tutor during my time with him. He's patient for when the strengths of a student come through, seeing the capability in someone who has always found maths difficult. He also candidly demands that patience, commitment and humilty with this subject which is the only way it rests and does its secret work at the back of the mind. I recommend him.

Perfect! Great lesson, Zac broke down the difficult questions that I was struggling on into smaller steps that all made sense. I was then able to solve a similar question using the steps he had taught me.

I want to thank my tutor Zac. From the very first lesson, it was evident that Zac is very passionate about maths that is nicely contagious to me. His patience helps me a lot in our sessions – I am an older tutee, without any requirements to learn for a specific exam but for my personal ability/ life and Zac sees what I can do and what not. Whilst he breaks down a math problem into manageable steps for me making the learning process enjoyable and engaging he also gives me challenges when he notices 'm ready and offers support where I am lost. He creates an environment where I feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions. He gives me great encouragement after doing exercises right, which boosts my confidence in maths.
I feel fortunate to have found him – for me an excellent tutor, and I am excited to see my progress being supported by him.

Zac is an excellent tutor, with a clear understanding of and passion for Maths. As a student himself (he’s on his gap year before university), he is able to relate well to the students he tutors. Zac is a wonderful tutor who has helped me overcome many academic difficulties in the past. I could not have hoped for a better tutor! His maths knowledge is extensive and he was incredibly supportive when assisting me with any problems I had.
