I really enjoy my French classes with Jojo. What I like most is that we practice a lot of conversation, always around interesting topics. For me, this is the most important part of learning a language.

I also really appreciate the grammar work, especially conjugation. My favorite classes are the ones that combine conversation and grammar, because when I try to express myself, I often realize that there are grammatical points I’m still missing. Jojo is very good at identifying these difficulties and explaining them clearly.

He is a patient, knowledgeable and attentive teacher who adapts the lessons to my needs and interests. His classes are always varied, useful and enjoyable. I highly recommend Jojo to anyone who wants to improve their French!

My classes with Jocelyn have been phenomenal. He’s very personally and outgoing while also still super knowledgeable. Jocelyn uses an excellent methodology that strengthens grammar, pronunciation, comprehension, and writing skills, combined with digital solutions that make lessons easier and more efficient. I already had a foundation in French, especially in speaking, but I needed to improve my grammar, and the classes with the professor have helped me develop and refine this skill.

He is an incredible teacher. He puts so much dedication into preparing the materials and the virtual learning environment. After just one month, I already feel comfortable reading some materials. Jojo is organized with plenty of different sorts of material at the ready and can pivot immediately if we request a focus on something. There are two of us taking this and working around our interests and knowledge is harder than having just one person to tutor! I particularly appreciate the skills-related work on listening. I think that's one of the hardest things to learn and the concentration on that is great.

Jocelyn is an excellent teacher. Super fun, energetic, and very personable. He makes the lessons interesting and I feel I'm learning a lot in a short period of time. I have been having weekly French lessons with Jocelyn for over a year now. My French was very basic when I started and has much improved.
