About Ruby
I’m a native Chinese speaker and a passionate language enthusiast. With international study and work experience across China, France, and Ireland, I bring a global perspective to my teaching. I love making the Chinese language and its rich culture more accessible and enjoyable for people from different backgrounds. My goal is to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students not only build strong communication skills but also gain cultural insights that make the language come alive in everyday situations.

Lessons are customized to each student’s goals — whether it’s conversational fluency, exam preparation, or business Chinese.
I focus on interactive learning: role plays, dialogues, and real-life examples.
I use visual aids, storytelling, and cultural insights to make learning engaging and memorable.
I encourage a “speak from day one” approach, helping students build confidence quickly.
