About Cindy
I am native Shanghaiese with no accent in Mandarin speaking, thus I can teach your quite standard Mandarin pronunciation.
I got IPA certificate in Chinese language teaching, and I know different methods to teach Mandarin from beginning, including Pinyin, grammar, and Chinese characters, to help you grasp Chinese language step by step.
My English is quite good, so the communication between us will be smooth, which is especially important for beginners.
Last, with 20+ years of working experience in MNC (marketing function), I am familiar with business language and cultural difference between western countries and China.

I know how to systematically teach Mandarin from very beginning, including pinyin, grammar, and Chinese characters.
For entry level, I will teach you listening and speaking, including pvarious daily conversations, like ntroduce people, buying things at the shop, asking for directions, making reservations, seeing doctors, etc. This will help your future daily life in China more convenient.
If you have already learned some Mandarin, I can teach you read and write Chinese characters, express ideas, make comments, and understand Chinese culture.
A typical lesson consists of learning and practising new words and grammar (and characters if necessary), fixing accent, and learning the proper occasions to apply the grammar. You can learn more practical usage of different words and grammar in my lesson.
With 20+ years business experience in MNC, I am familar withe cross culture / cross ethnic communication and business varieties. I can help you understand those difference in Chinese culture.
