About Ella
Hello there! I'm Ella, a recent English and Political Science graduate of Yale University. Having taught debating and mentored students through the university admissions process for the past six years, I love meeting and supporting students in achieving their goals. I'm excited to meet you and to tailor your learning to suit your learning style and personal targets! I am experienced at helping students find the best way to articulate their ideas and sell themselves to universities and exam boards alike. I am also happy to tutor in the subjects I studied at KS2/3, GCSE, A Level, and university.

For university admissions tutoring, I find the best methodology is to meet with the student face to face or virtually to discuss strategies to testing, personal statements and interviews. I also will offer advice on drafts and tailor lessons to any specific problems a student is having regarding testing.
For all other kinds of tutoring, I am happy to tailor my teaching to each of my students' needs, whether that is learning the content through memorization techniques, discussing complicated concepts, or assigning and grading practice exams questions. Lessons vary from half an hour to an hour depending on student's availability.
