About Alexander
I am an artist and educator. I have been teaching on the university level since 2005. I have experience teaching private lessons, seminars and large studio classes.
I also have an ongoing artistic practice. I make paintings and watercolors which I exhibit all over the world.
I am a graduate of Yale University and Otis College of Art and Design. I use the lessons I learned in art school every day, whether in the studio or the classroom.

I take an individualistic approach to my teaching I assess each student's level of proficiency through a variety of exercises and assignments. I work with students to determine their specific needs whether that is a cohesive portfolio for art school, or help with oil painting techniques.
