About Daniel
I’m currently in Year 13 studying Geography, Business and Psychology, with predicted grades of A, A and B. I achieved 10 GCSEs, including a B in Maths and an additional Maths Statistics GCSE. I enjoy playing football and games with my friends when I’m not busy with school. When I was in primary school, I struggled with Maths and didn’t feel like I had someone who could really help me until Year 6. Having someone support me and make Maths enjoyable completely changed how I felt about the subject, and it has been one of my favourite subjects ever since. I want to be that person for other primary school students and help them build the confidence and enjoyment I gained myself.

My approach is friendly, patient and tailored to each student. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I’ll explain topics clearly and step by step, use practice questions to check understanding and focus on building confidence so students can eventually work independently and achieve the grades they want.

I’ve had a really positive experience with Daniel as a Maths tutor. He is patient, friendly and genuinely takes the time to make sure you understand something rather than just giving you the answer. He explains things in a simple way and doesn’t make you feel embarrassed if you get something wrong. I remember struggling with a topic and Daniel took the time to go through it step by step until it finally made sense. He is also very encouraging and makes lessons feel much less stressful.
