About Ruth
"Computing captured my attention early through the logic of financial systems. It is the core of my professional identity.
After finishing my Master of Science in Financial Mathematics at UNSW and a BSc in CS, I spent 13 years within the Sydney fintech sector. That corporate history informs my current approach to teaching. I combine ECONOMICS, coding, and mathematics to build a modern commerce toolkit.
My instruction relies on 3 years of tutoring experience where I have mentored 45 students. We tackle C++ and Java alongside SQL and databases. Backend basics and APIs form the backbone of my curriculum.
I prefer project based learning over abstract theory. JavaScript and HTML skills are integrated into every workflow."
