About Cristina
"I started playing violin as a child because the sound intrigued me. Holding the instrument correctly felt natural from the very first day.
My 12 years of teaching includes helping 385 students master spiccato and staccato bowing. EAR TRAINING is central to how I teach at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music.
Beginners often struggle with tuning by ear, so we work on that early. Advanced learners benefit from my grade exam prep for ABRSM and Trinity boards. I enjoy watching the technical side of BOWING TECHNIQUE click for a student."

"Standing with a violin for the first time feels quite awkward, honestly. I prioritize posture and comfort to make that initial hurdle manageable. My 12 years of experience allow me to simplify complex movements into tiny steps. Students often tell me they appreciate how I break down tricky passages.
We spend time on intonation because a 10.0 score starts with accurate placement. I will guide you through the mechanical challenges with patience. Learning an instrument takes time and focused effort. Just bring your curiosity to our next scheduled hour."
