About Hugo
I have gained a degree in history and have spent the last 5 years providing 1-2-1 and group support to autistic children and those with learning difficulties across a broad range of subjects, both academic and non academic.

I believe it is important to personalise learning to the child’s needs depending on how they absorb and retain information. (mixing audio, visual, movement and text). To help maintain concentration, exercises will focus on the methods that the child is attracted to in any given session.
I like to enable student participation to encourage increased debate, problem solving and engagement to help build a confidence over time; it is important that they feel comfortable and safe to experiment whilst learning.
The development of your child is very important to me. In addition to the direct tutoring time, I will dedicate 30-60 minutes to prep for the session and will ensure I communicate progress with you after.
