About Mandeep
I haven't taught programming in a formal setting before. I have mentored my juniors since last 5 years though. I currently do not have any students because I am just registering my profile here. I believe I am a good teacher because I understand that there is a huge gap between the skills required for a software developer and a fresher from an engineering college holding a computer science degree. I have been there and learnt the hard way how software development should be taught.

I have been working as a software developer since 2010. Over all these years, I have worked with various programming languages, SQL and NoSQL databases and various tools and technologies. I have learnt that Software Development is not only about learning different programming languages and working with various tools. It's a lot more than that. Solving problems through code and writing robust, performant and maintainable code is a skill that you acquire with experience, working on challenging problems and working with other experienced developers. While there is no shortcut to that, having an experienced mentor can accelerate your growth significantly. I believe in teaching through practical problem solving. I won't be teaching only theory but giving you assignments where you will spend time, trying to solve the problem. And then I will review your code and offer my inputs and suggestions, helping you improve your problem solving ability and coding skills. This way, I will be grooming you to learn on your own instead of relying on a teacher. And this is absolutely necessary in order to be successful as a software developer
