About Benjamin
Bonjour ! Ça va ? My name is Ben, I am a French native working in Brisbane. I hold a Master degree in Business Management and have worked for several years in China and Singapore. I have a passion for learning and teaching languages and I can speak Mandarin, English and (a tiny bit of) Spanish.
I have taught students at all levels and in all age groups and have a passion for sharing the French language and culture.

My teaching philosophy is that language learning does not need to be hard and exhausting, it can be fun and natural! Yes - you will need to put in some time and effort, but before you realise it your French skills will improve dramatically.
I am a big advocate of learning through practice, and as such most of my lessons are conveyed using French to improve your listening and pronunciation skills. The objective is to let the learner be immersed in a French environment and to learn 'passively'.
The course content is not fixed in concrete, and classes are adapted to meet the needs of every students. Whether your goal is to learn more about French culture, prepare for an incoming trip or improve your written and conversational skills, I will tailor classes to help you reach your goals.

I am happy to recommend Ben as a tutor. Since starting our lessons I have become more confident in speaking and understanding French. Ben uses French conversation as a way to immerse yourself in the learning, and his recommendations of French movies, books and music make learning the language very enjoyable.
