Hi! I am a high school English teacher based between Chicago, USA and Paris, France.
I obtained my bachelor's degree in 2024 and my master's in 2025. I adore all things dealing with the subject of foreign policy, French literature, and just chatting in general. My students are truly the lights of my life and I'm really hoping to continue doing that online!
I am TEFL Certified with TEFL Hero through their 40-hour course, and I'll likely be completing a Diploma Universitaire in Dual Language Teaching at Université de Bordeaux this coming winter!
I have one year of high school and trade school English teaching under my belt as a part of the TAPIF program through France Education International. I served as a foreign language assistant in 2 lycées professionnels and adored it!
I work with all ages, and have a special place in my heart for working with children 🩷
I mainly focus on improving confidence for my students and just getting general participation. I'm not huge on grammar because I think getting the point across is the biggest thing when learning a language! I love to know about my students' hobbies and vocations so that I can better tailor my lessons to fit their needs.
