About Robin
Hello, my name is Robin Bailey...I am a 69 years old married man with 3 children.....In my twenties, a single Australian male, i had some anxiety, stress issues which i had trouble dealing with....I was in a bad place!! I felt lonely..depressed..
Even though i had strong support from my family...i did not want to go to the doctor for treatment...i felt there must be a more natural way to get myself back to a better state of mind...
i was always an avid reader and stumbled across a book about Zen Buddhism...
This changed my Life! The practise and way of life instantly appealed to me and i knew this was going to help me....Anyway.... long story short...
I travelled to the USA to visit a Zen Center where i lived as a
Lay Monk for a short period of time...
My study then continued from there to a Canadian Zen Center .
The Zen Teachers and community were some of the Finest Human Beings i have met in my life..They asked nothing of me...but gave plenty....this changed my life.
After a few months.I then returned to Australia...back to work....i have continued my zen journey....studying off and on in Australia since my 1980s trip...Whilst in USA our daily routine also included Hatha Yoga classes...i have also continued this practise at home and in some formal classes in Australia from time to time
So....what can i offer u? How can i assist u to experience a happier, stress free existence?? I will share and advise on what I know works....I will endevour to show u how to achieve clarity of mind..live in harmony with your friends and family...and realise true happiness within yourself..follow the way.
Best wishes
Robin
